Epic Coppa BJJ Head Coach, Marcelo Coppa has had a very busy couple of months, not only teaching his students in Portishead, Nailsea and Clevedon, but also training, teaching and refereeing around Europe and the Middle East.

March 11th saw Marcelo, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, refereeing at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, part of the UAEJJF world ranking series.

April saw Marcelo attend a training camp in Israel.

May has seen Marcelo in Belfast, where he has been instructing new referees on a UKBJJA referee course. Last weekend he was refereeing at the IBJJF Paris Spring International Open. Further instructing trips to Newcastle and Sicily this month, where Marcelo will be sharing his expertise, will conclude a very busy and productive time for our Head Coach.
