Six week introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for children
💛Get Your Kids Into Martial Arts With EPiC🖤
Martial Arts is seen in movies as ‘cool’ choreographed fight scenes that are often associated with violence and the way that people deal with problems 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏾♀️
Fortunately this is far from the truth. Kids learning martial arts is a physical activity, at least in terms of the action of learning it. The social and psychological elements of it though are the core of why we do what we do ✅
The real ‘art’ lies in mastering the following:
🖤 Good Discipline
💛 Respect
🖤 Focus & Concentration
💛 Aspirations & Renewed Motivation
🖤 Teamwork Skills
💛 Never-say-die attitude
🖤 Energy Release in a positive way
💛 Strong Body & CV system
🖤 Strong Work Ethic
The hardest bit is often getting started so we have come up with a six week introduction course that introduces the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
“Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a predominantly ground-based martial art, using the principals of leverage, angles, pressure and timing, as well as knowledge of the human anatomy, in order to achieve a non-violent submission of one’s opponent.”
The course instructor is an EPiC Head Coach and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt @WayneArandjelović who not only has a wealth of martial arts knowledge but is also fantastic at coaching children.
Course dates: Every Tuesday for six weeks – 8th, 15th, 22st, 29th Nov, 6th & 13th Dec.
Session Time: 5-6pm
Cost: £49
Ages: 7-13 years
