Tabata consists of rounds of 20 seconds high intensity work followed by 10 seconds rest. A typical tabata workout will last 8 rounds, however this may vary from class to class. When completing a tabata workout you will typically work at a higher intensity than in a HIIT workout but you will complete a round in under 4 minutes.
Our Tabata classes will have a few different rounds of this style of workout but our expert coaches will mix it up so that you have different time periods, exercises and muscle groups worked. Tabata will improve your explosive strength, cardio fitness and burn lots of calories in a short space of time.
This class goes well with the open gym, Funktion, all martial arts classes, as well as Yoga and Pilates.
