Junior Coach
Jess is another product of hard work and consistency. She joined EPiC as a Little Dragon and went through the process of building her Kung Fu grades in the kids classes. In 2018, Jess achieved her 1st Degree black sash in Kung Fu and was one of the first students awarded the Pat Cleeves shield.
Jess competed for a while at national level in points fighting and continuous fighting but chose to focus mainly on her syllabus in the build-up to her black sash grading in Walsall, 2018.
Jess regularly teaches syllabus in Kung Fu classes with EPiC and outside of her training she is still studying. Jess trains alongside her whole family, who are young brother and fellow black sash student Dean, her father Mike and her mother Sian.
