Abi Slee is a Yoga Coach at EPiC and has been part of the team since the Portishead location opened, having worked alongside Andy and Rakan for over 15 years.
With more than 35 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Abi brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to everything she does. Her journey began as a young athlete in the late 1980s, where sport quickly became a central part of her life. Since then, she has built a career across multiple areas of the industry, including group exercise, personal training, anatomy and physiology, holistic massage, and yoga. She is also a Wellness Lecturer at SGS College and the founder of Passion for Wellness.
Abi has supported thousands of clients over the years, helping them stay active, build confidence, and prioritise their health and wellbeing. Her approach goes beyond the physical, with a strong focus on mindset, lifestyle, and long-term consistency. She is particularly empathetic with those recovering from injury, drawing from her own experience following spinal surgery.
Her coaching style is dynamic and adaptable, meeting people where they are and helping them progress in a way that feels achievable and sustainable. Abi is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and develop a deeper connection between body and mind through movement, breathwork, and balance.
She has worked extensively within the local community, bringing yoga to people across Bristol and North Somerset, and helping individuals of all levels improve both physically and mentally. Her sessions incorporate a mix of flow, breathwork, balance, and relaxation, with an emphasis on reducing stress and creating a sense of calm and control.
Outside of EPiC, Abi is a mum to two teenage boys and enjoys a busy family life. She loves cooking, spending time with friends, and travelling to Majorca, her favourite place to unwind. A fun fact: she has completed 14 bungee jumps!
