Martial Arts Coach

George began his kickboxing journey at the age of five, training under Head Coach Andy Cleeves in Portishead.
He started competing at just 10 years old, going on to fight internationally across Ireland, Hungary, Italy, and Belgium. By the age of 12, George had earned selection for Team GB, winning a silver medal at the World Championships in his debut year.
His competitive career was then interrupted by the COVID pandemic and a serious shoulder injury, keeping him out of action for several years. In 2025, George made a strong return to competition, securing gold medals in both Light Contact and Kick Light at the Italian World Cup. Alongside his kickboxing achievements, he has also competed in amateur boxing, winning both of his bouts before injury.
George has built an impressive record across his career, including:
WAKO European Champion
4x Irish Open Champion
3x Hungarian World Cup Champion
2x Italian World Cup Champion
2x Italian Golden Gloves Champion
7x British Champion
2x World Championships Runner-up
Outside of the sport, George is a dedicated Aston Villa supporter and season ticket holder. He has also played football throughout his childhood and is currently studying for a degree at UWE.
