Kysia Penny

Class Instructor

Before discovering the gym, Kysia’s athletic background began in dance. Starting at just eight years old, she trained in multiple styles and went on to compete both nationally and internationally. She later completed a National Diploma in Dance and became part of a Bristol-based dance troupe, developing the discipline, coordination and performance skills that now shine through in her coaching.

At around 21, Kysia transitioned into gym-based training and fell in love with circuit work, strength training and eventually the world of bikini competitions. She spent two years competing, building an impressive physique and a strong understanding of structured training, nutrition and stage preparation.

After moving to Portishead, she found EPiC at exactly the right moment. Stepping away from the competitive circuit, she focused on learning new ways to train, stay fit and maintain balance, quickly becoming part of the EPiC community. Kysia is now working towards her Level 4 Personal Training and Nutrition qualifications, adding to her already strong foundation in movement and conditioning.

Outside of fitness, Kysia works as a 111 Health Advisor, bringing compassion and calm to those who need it most. She loves spending time with her husband, fellow EPiC Coach Rakan, and continues to stay active, positive and committed to helping others feel confident in their own training.
