Steve began training in martial arts in the 1990s as a teenager, earning his black belt at 22 and achieving 2nd Dan by the age of 25.

During his competitive career, he fought extensively, winning at both local and national level, and went on to become a World Champion in 2006.

After taking time away from the sport to raise a family, Steve returned to training in 2018 alongside his children at EPiC. Since then, he has become a valued member of the coaching team, bringing both experience and a calm, grounded approach to his sessions.

Steve now plays a key role in supporting the EPiC fight team, helping athletes prepare for competition and guiding them through the demands of the tournament scene.
