Our goal is to help your pre-schooler be the best they can be at everything they put their minds to. The Little Dragons lessons focus on improving pre-school age children’s basic motor, learning and listening skills. Skills that will help them develop with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook and the benefits will include better focus at school, better listening at home and more ambition towards the future. We believe that the most important years of a child’s development are between the ages of 4 and 6 and our lessons will capture the imagination and enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way.

The skills we teach are comprised of physical and mental benefits and include focus, to improve your child’s listening skills and reaction skills. Teamwork, to develop character, which will help him or her make new friends and become a better leader in life. Control, which builds confidence and leads to good decision making. Balance, a crucial skill to develop at an early age, as your child is beginning to participate in many physical activities. Your child will develop good balance and a better posture.

Memory, the sooner your child exercises the smarter he or she will become and the earlier they will make smart decisions. Discipline, our lessons help promote the image that discipline is fun and rewarding. Your child will take pride in doing the right thing and will also follow directions better. Fitness, helping your child to understand the benefits of being healthy and physically fit, whilst burning off all that excess energy. Co-ordination, from learning left from right to becoming better physical participants is sports and activities, the better co-ordination your child has, the fewer injuries your child will sustain.

The Little Dragon lessons will also prepare your child for the Junior Kung-Fu and Kickboxing class.

Our lessons will improve your child’s physical fitness, concentration, self discipline, co-ordination, flexibility, self respect and many other positive attributes through our fun but high energy workouts taught by positive role model coaches. These skills will help them enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook as they will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future. The skills they are taught are composed of physical and mental benefits but we ensure that our classes make learning both fun and educational.

As they develop we ensure that our youngsters have multiple options to give them a wider variety of personal goals, including the option to progress through a full grading system and partake in local, regional and national martial arts competitions. Our program is educational and concentrates on improving discipline, confidence and self development at home and in school whilst also being hugely enjoyable and rewarding.

The Kids Kung-Fu & Kickboxing lessons will also prepare your child for the Adult Kung-Fu & Kickboxing class.

Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are delivered by some of the highest qualified coaches around. EPiC Coppa BJJ for kids provides a fun and safe environment for children to gain confidence, improve discipline and understand respect. Our weekly classes are dynamic and engaging and you can expect your child not just to develop physically but also improve socially and emotionally.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great form of self defence and will ensure your child improves strength, flexibility, concentration and focus. Children will work through a syllabus and have chance to progress with grades and obtain different coloured belts. Participants will also have chance to test their skills on a competitive level if desired.

We see all of our kids martial arts programmes as great vehicles to help children understand the importance of hard work, allowing them to get comfortable with the uncomfortable and helping to mould an attitude full of determination and perseverance.

In our Adult Classes we have a rewarding mix of fitness and traditional technique that ensures all our Adult Martial Artists are focussed, interested and determined to learn. At the same time we pride ourselves on the fact that the classes are the perfect balance of fun and hard work, the friendly yet focussed environment making sure that everyone gets a great workout, learns new skills and makes new friends.

Lau Gar is a well-known Southern Chinese kung fu style being external and hard in nature. Our class program consists of set movements and traditional open hand forms and weaponry for the senior students. The classes are taught from a practical self defence perspective and each lesson also incorporates a fitness work out. All our students are offered the chance to progress through a full grading system governed by the British Kung Fu Association.

EPIC draws on the vast experience of a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable coaches to create an enjoyable Kickboxing experience for all genders and abilities. The training methods incorporate line work, pads, bag work and sparring (optional), all devised through the substantial experience gained during the Instructors successful competitive martial arts careers.

Our classes cater for all and provide all of the health and fitness benefits associated with martial arts training as well as the integral life skills and increased mental capacity that come from the wealth of knowledge and character amongst our coaching team. Our classes are for men and women of all ages and all shapes and sizes and can accommodate you whether you want to lose weight, get fit, make friends and have fun. All of our classes are run by highly motivated Instructors who will help you to get the most out of every session.

Our rigorous workouts, with controlled punching and kicking movements, can do wonders for feelings of frustration and anger. It can also improve balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance. These classes promote self-control, self-respect and goal setting, combined with perseverance and determination, whilst offering the opportunity to also compete on regional, national and international competition circuits.

The founders of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), modified judo and traditional Japanese jujutsu to create today’s art. It contains stand up manoeuvres, but it is most famous for its devastating ground-fighting techniques. The basis of BJJ is gaining superior positioning so you can apply the style’s numerous chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations on an opponent.

EPiC Coppa BJJ’s Head Coach originates from Brazil and is currently a 3rd degree black belt. He has drawn on vast amounts of experience to compile a weekly programme with so many benefits. Classes are structured for all levels and you will be pushed to you own personal limits. You will learn to defend yourself, improve confidence and strengthen your body. BJJ is also great for improving concentration and mental focus as well as its many physical benefits.

You can expect classes to be fun whilst maintaining a level of discipline and respect associated with good traditional martial arts. You will learn lots of techniques and how to apply them in a safe and progressive environment. You will have the chance to work through grades and also progress to take part in competitions if you desire.

Our boxing classes are delivered by very experienced and enthusiastic coaches that cater to all levels of ability. Whether you are just starting out or already have boxing experience, you are sure to learn something new and develop your skill set. A typical class would consist of shadow sparring, conditioning drill, padwork and sparring.
